We recognize that many victims of spiritual, physical, domestic, and sexual abuse in the church have not had a voice. In many instances they are left feeling isolated, ashamed, confused, anxious, not knowing who to talk to or what to do.<\/p>\n
We want to hear your story. We are not trauma specialists or counselors, and we will not counsel you, but we are a safe place if you would like to share your story (we have referrals for trained counselors). We have a Facebook page that is cared for by our V4V team and will have posts that will encourage, educate, and support you in your healing process. We have intercessors who will receive your prayer requests and will PRAY for you. We have collected professional counselors, therapists, and social workers (listed under resources) if you need that support.<\/p>\n
We are also continuing to build our resource catalog to offer education and understanding of abuse in the church, how to recognize spiritual abuse, and resources to help you walk out your healing.<\/p>\n
We welcome testimonies of healing and overcoming spiritual abuse that we can post to give encouragement and hope to others who are beginning their healing journey. Please send us your testimony with the keys and steps that helped you arise as an overcomer. Your story will help encourage others, build faith and hope, and remind those who are hurting that they are not alone.<\/p>\n
